Majengo Secondary School is a counter urban comprehensive school serving the town of Moshi and the people of Kilimanjaro and Tanzania at large. As we are writing this article the school accommodates about 3,000 students on site. As the technology grows the school has set aside a plan to expand our facilities equipping us with the environment necessary to meet the educational and social challenges of the 21^st Century.

English is the lead subject. We chose this because we believe that better reading, writing and speaking will help everyone in all areas of life. Majengo Secondary School has made progress in raising attainment and achievement, but we know there is more to do as we strive to remove the barriers to higher aspiration.
